Coastal Links is a community based network of fishing coastal communities in the Western Cape whose establishment was facilitated by Masifundise in 2004.
Coastal Links comprises fisher associations; women’s groups; youth groups; sports and cultural groups; general community based organisations; and individual community members. 
The network has grown strength and stature enabling the network to to undertake advocacy interventions in order to secure traditional fishing communities and coastal dwellers’ rights to marine resources and sustainable livelihood alternatives.
